Lindsey and Luke Baumgartner

February 20: Bethany held a special business meeting after the second morning worship service and voted to call Luke Baumgartner to serve as our Worship Leader. This came at the unanimous  recommendation of Pastor Leckie, the Worship Leader Search Team and the Board of Deacons.

Luke has been raised in a Christian home. His father has been and still is a worship leader in a church. Luke has been involved in worship for many years and has a heart and desire to serve the Lord in this ministry of worship. His wife, Lindsey, comes from a Christian background. Her parents are missionaries in Africa. Her spiritual gifts do not revolve around music but she has a real heart for missions and teaches English as a second language to Korean children.  She is a graduate of Biola University with a degree in Missions. They both are very talented and committed believers and we are pleased to present them to you for this position of Worship Leader at Bethany. Luke led us in worship, along with our own worship team members on February 6 (week before last).
