What comes to mind when you hear this KaPOW!! ?

Is it God speaking the universe into existence?

Is it thunder heard from an ark filled with animals?

Is it the walls of Jericho falling down at the sound of horns?

Is it giant pillars crashing down upon the strongest man ever?

Is it the sound of a small shiny river stone knocking a giant dead?

Or is it the veil of the temple being torn in two as our Savior gave up His final breath?

KaPOW!! stands for Kids and Parents on Wednesdays

God has called us to reach the world in His name.  He has called Bethany to serve in missions.  In the past 2 years we have seen teams head to Africa, India, Brazil and the Navejo Reservation.  We have known individuals who have served in Israel, the Dominican Republic, & Eastern Europe.  We have a unique mission field right here in our own neighborhood.  There are approximately 1000 students on Edwards and Trask – most of them have never stepped foot on any church campus.   Working in conjunction with the The Seed, we have developed a program that will not just reach our neighborhood – It’ll knock their socks off!

Reach!!

We begin with reaching out – our new program is inviting, friendly, and affordable.

Teach!!

We are cruising through all 66 books of the Bible – starting with Genesis.  This will take us between 4 and 6 years to get to Revelation but the end result is that children who do not experience a traditional church setting will hear the Word of God and learn to respond to it accordingly.

Table Time:  By breaking the children into small groups allows us to teach or disciple them on a more personal individual level.

Service Projects – we are teaching these children that serving others is a natural part of Christian growth

Respond!!

Each evening ends with Praise and Worship in a corporate setting.  We will be focusing on traditional hymns as well as new found favorites.

Live!!

Our bait is that we have fun!  Games and fellowship are an integral part of grabbing the attention of a dying world – and our Leadership has pu the fun back in fundamental faith!

We have something for all ages – from infants to seniors.  Come join the fun!  Come get involved!
