Towards Unity

Passage: Ephesians 4:1–6

Is there a difference between living UP TO the gospel and living OUT OF the gospel?

Does this affect how you view your calling and live a life worthy of your calling? How?

How can unity build a church?

How does selfishness affect unity within the church? How does selflessness affect unity within the church?

How do the virtues in Ephesians 4:2-3 build upon unity?

Does community add to and strengthen unity? If so, how?

What things build a little bit of unity? Are there things that build lots of unity?

How are you promoting unity in your small group, Sunday School, local church, the church throughout the world?

What things take away from unity?

Are there areas within the church you are not promoting unity?

Are any of those areas about a philosophical difference, a scriptural truth, or a preference?

If you don’t play your role in the body of Christ (at your local church) does that hinder unity?
