Here to be Discipled

Discussion Questions:

In what ways might Christians be tempted to parade around their accomplishments in the church? Why might that be tempting? What is wrong with that?

What does it mean to be a disciple? If Christians are clothed in the righteousness of Christ, why do they need to be discipled?

What are the two forms of discipline as seen in 2 Timothy 3:16? Why are each of them important?

Why is it important for Christians to not only know they need discipline, but that they also seek it out and embrace it?

How might a Christian seek out and embrace discipline? What does this have to do with not only attending, but officially joining a local church?
