Discussion Questions:

1. Why should we not be surprised by Noah’s actions? What do they tell us about Noah? What do they tell us about his need for God’s grace?

2. What is the difference between the way that Ham responded to Noah’s sin and the way his brothers responded? Why does that matter? Do you ever find yourself tempted to respond to the sin of others in ways similar to Ham? What is wrong with that? 

3. Why is the covering of Noah’s shame significant? How does it relate to what God did for Adam and Eve? How can our sin and shame be covered today?

4. How is the gospel of Christ present in Noah’s curse and blessing? What does this tell you about the goodness of God? What about his sovereignty?
