Discussion Questions:

Read Mark 10:32-34 as a group.

Jesus walked ahead of his followers. Why did he do that?

Why were Jesus’ followers amazed and fearful?

What are things that make people fearful today?

Jesus and his followers were marching toward a pivotal event in history. What was it? Why is it significant? What event are people today marching toward? Why is it significant?

In what way did Jesus’ mission impact the way that he moved toward Jerusalem?

In what ways should what God has revealed to us about the future and called us to do as we move toward it, impact how we think, what we say, and what we do?

As you interact with others, do you find yourself talking more about temporal things or eternal things for which Christ saved you? How can you do more of the later?
