What kind of events do you enjoy? What would you consider to be a “main event”?  Why?

Why do you think that the prophets were so fascinated by “the grace” that was coming?

Do verses 10 through 12 indicate that God’s grace was not present prior to the arrival of Jesus Christ? Was salvation not available to sinners in the Old Testament? Explain.

Is the Spirit of Christ different than the Holy Spirit? Explain. Where is God’s Spirit active in this passage?  Why is that important?
