Community Groups:

Read Acts 4:1-31 as a group.

Have you ever gotten in trouble? What happened? How did it make you feel?

Can Christians expect to get in trouble? Why or why not? Under what circumstances? Is there a difference between getting in trouble and being a trouble maker? Explain.

How does the risk of getting in trouble impact your enthusiasm to be a witness of Christ?

How should leaders who stand in opposition to the kingdom of God be treated by Christians?

Should the threat of punishment inhibit Christians from bearing witness to the gospel of Christ? Explain.

What does the prayer of the disciples in Acts 4:23-31 reveal about their understanding of God and level of devotion to their mission? What does it reveal about you?

In light of what you see in this passage, how should you pray this week?

Read Acts 4:32-5:11 in preparation for next Sunday.

Do we have any boss bigger than God?

What does God want us to do? What does God not want us to do?
