Are there events that have happened in your past that you believe have put limits on your hopes and dreams?

In what way could Abram’s past have been perceived as an obstacle to his usefulness to God?

Is it possible that the hurts, sufferings, failures, or less than ideal circumstances of your past might be used to enhance your usefulness for God’s purposes? Explain. Can you identify ways in which God has used those things already?
