Read Acts 27.1-44.

Describe a recent storm (difficult or troubling time) that you have weathered?

How do you understand why God allows difficult circumstances in the lives of people who love him?

How do you respond when other people are responsible for bringing storms into your life? 

Describe Paul’s circumstances in verses 27 to 32.

In what way did Paul continue to care for those who were responsible for taking him into the storm? In what way does he bear witness to Christ?

Read 2 Corinthians 4:6-10. What does God desire to bring about in believers who weather difficult storms?

What evidence is there that Paul’s effort to care for those who were responsible for bringing him into the storm had a positive impact? (Verses 42 to 43)
