What is a charlatan?

Who are some examples of "Christian" charlatans today? What evidence leads you to those conclusions?

What are some things that might motivate a person to be Christian in name only? What does that look like?

What was the difference between Paul and the Jewish exorcists? Why do you think that the spirits recognized Paul and not the sons of Sceva?

Was Paul's focus on performing miracles or something else? What was it? In what way should his focus be a model for all Christians. Read John 15:1-11 for additional insight.

How did the Ephesians respond to what happened to the exorcists (vv. 17-19)? What are some examples of things that people who come to faith in Christ these days might need to do away with?
