Read Acts 21:17-26

What is more important to you than seeing people made in God’s image come to saving faith in Jesus?

The accusations being spread to Jerusalem believers in regard to Paul’s teaching were untrue. How do you think you would have reacted if you heard false things were being spread about you? Why?

What does Paul’s willingness to submit to the plan of the Jerusalem church elders tell us about his character? Is that something we should desire to emulate? Why?

Read 1 Corinthians 9:19-23

In what way does the prioritization of our gospel witness require humility on our part?

In what way does the promotion of peace within your local church require humility?

Pray that the proclamation of the gospel and the unity of the body of believers might become higher priorities than defending personal honor.
